Bio

I studied Visual Arts in Bogota, Colombia. During my studies and early career I developed two main streams of work: visual arts and public interventions.

My sculptural and bidimensional work has always been a quest for deep poetics of existence, whereas my public interventions are site-specific, and critically socio-political.

During my MA on Philosophy of Art, I focused my research on Environmental Aesthetics and Perceptual Systems. My Thesis was on how art and perception play a role in our relation with what we call “nature” and therefore, in the Environmental Crisis.

My artwork has been selected in several international events. I have been selected and/or invited as professional artist to participate in International Residencies and Sculpture events in several countries in Europe and Latin America.

I’m currently active in the cultural sector as creator, arts administrator, curator and organizer of artistic, cultural and socially impactful events and organizations.
